Review
This book seemed to be my kind of book from the first time I set eyes on the cover to when I read the words ‘shoe designer’ in the synopsis. The cover is absolutely perfect for the book! It sets the tone as a light read that I absolutely sped through and it’s perfect for reading while enjoying a lovely bubble bath or curling up with a glass of white wine, or maybe a mojito!

The scene of Megan’s office and the bar she frequented after work was set perfectly. You can imagine it would be a lovely place to work and live the city lifestyle.  Reading about her shoe design business was fascinating, and would love a novella that went into more detail about her love of shoes and how she became to be a shoe designer, and well I just want to spend more time imagining gorgeous shoes with glittery soles (Winter Shoe’s trademark, in the same way all Christian Louboutin shoes have red soles).

The characters were also really fun to read.  Megan was easy to relate to. She seemed to be a typical woman in her 20’s and had a great couple of friends in Brendon and Georgie. I think her friends and the support they gave (along with their fun) was the best part of the book.

Now onto ‘Hot Guy’, James was wonderful, and while I understand why Megan freaked out (repeatedly), I was silently begging her to not do that, as James seemed quite a catch! I definitely appreciated the parts of the book that was from his perspective.

This is part of a 3 part series, and you are left hanging at the end of this book, and I for one cannot wait for the next two parts to be published so I can see what happens to Megan.
